Productivity plan

Productivity plans are a requirement of the Local Government Financial Settlement.

Productivity plans form part of a review by the government into productivity within the public sector.

Rutland County Council's productivity plan was approved by council on 15 July 2024. The productivity plan focusses on four themes:

• transforming services to make better use of resources
• using technology and making better use of data
• reducing waste
• identifying barriers preventing efficient service delivery
