Petitions
Guidance on how to create and submit a petition to the Council
Petitions are formal written requests (typically signed by many people) that appeal to an organisation about a particular cause, issue or concern.
We welcome petitions and recognise these as a way people can let us know their concerns. We'll address and respond to petitions about issues we have control or influence over.
If you're thinking about starting a petition, it may be helpful to get in touch with us before starting to collect signatories - email our governance team at governance@rutland.gov.uk.
You can also find out more in our Petitions Guidance.
