Different types of fraud that we or the police can look into
Types of fraud we've investigated that resulted in successful prosecutions:
- working and not declaring that work
- non-disclosure of property or capital
- non-disclosure of income
- non-disclosure of a partner (living together as husband and wife)
- non-declaration of other adults living in the home
- false tenancies - creating false rent liability and/or fictitious landlord
- failing to declare a change of address
- landlord fraud - such as continuing to accept payments on behalf of a tenant who's left
