UK Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme
This scheme provides vouchers to help with the costs of installing new gigabit-capable connections, when part of a group scheme (minimum of two homes or businesses).
Vouchers are worth up to:
- £4,500 for households
- £4,500 for businesses
For full details about the scheme and the latest updates, visit the DCMS's Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme website.
How the vouchers work
Eligible homes and businesses can access the scheme through a supplier.
You can only use the voucher funding through a broadband supplier registered to the scheme as part of a broadband upgrade project shared with your neighbours. Suppliers may be developing a project in your area already, or may be able to develop a new project if there's enough demand in your community.
The supplier will need to develop a project proposal to connect you and your neighbours, then request vouchers on your behalf.
Funding is committed when:
- We approve the voucher request
- You agree to our terms and conditions
