Bins, waste and recycling - Text - Blue bags
Blue bags
Households in Rutland will get an extra blue bag for additional recycling over the Christmas period. Once full, residents are asked to place this bag next to their grey recycling bin on collection day. Collection crews cannot remove any other side waste.
Bins, waste and recycling - Text - Christmas tree recycling
Christmas tree recycling
If you subscribe to the Green waste subscription service, you can use you green bin to dispose of your real Christmas tree. Please ensure that the lid can close on the bin - you may need to cut the tree into smaller pieces to allow this.
Alternatively, you can take your real Christmas tree to one of our Household Waste Recycling Centres.
