Green Garden Waste BinRutland County Council collects your GREEN garden waste bin every two weeks.

 

 

Please note that the garden waste collections switch to monthly between December and February (inclusive) as the level of garden waste reduces.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We ACCEPT the following items:

  • Grass Cuttings
  • Hedge Trimmings
  • Tree & Shrub Prunings
  • Leaves
  • Weeds
  • Windfall Fruit
  • Old Flowers & Plants
  • Small Branches

Please do not wrap or bag these items.

 

 

We DO NOT ACCEPT the following items:

  • Food/Kitchen Waste
  • Plastic Packaging
  • Plant Pots
  • Pet Waste & Bedding
  • Soil & Rubble
  • General Household Waste

Please note that your green waste bin will not be emptied if it is over filled or too heavy.

Please take items too large, too heavy or too difficult to fit in the bin to a Civic Amenity site (waste tip), either at Cottesmore or North Luffenham.
