Commercial Waste

 

Please note that no commercial (business waste) will be accepted at any Civic Amenity Site operated by or on behalf of Rutland County Council.

 

All businesses have a legal duty of care to deal with their waste responsibly. Defra have produced a guidance leaflet which provides more information on duty of care.

 

Rutland County Council has signed up to the Business Recycling & Waste Services Commitment. 

 

A collection service can be provided for all businesses and commercial enterprises. A charge will be made for this service which will be the market rate for that service at the time of the request plus a 10% administration charge.

 

Alternatively businesses and commercial enterprises can contact a Waste Management company directly to set up a collection service.

Please note that the Council does not recommend any of these companies. This list is provided as a source of information only.

 

Collections of large bulky items from commercial premises can be provided by the Council.

There will be a charge for this service. Please contact Rutland County Council Customer Services for a quotation.
