 Well done and keep up the good work!


Our recycling rate for 2013/14 totalled 60.02% and places us 7th out of  all Local Authorities in England, an improvement from 10th position in 2012/13.

Rutland County Council provides, free of charge, 1 wheeled black bin for each household. The householder is responsible for the safe-keeping of the bin.

Household Recycling Collections

Rutland County Council provides a kerbside collection of 1 grey wheeled bin for recycling and 1 green wheeled bin for garden waste. All households in Rutland are eligible for this collection service and the householder is responsible for the safe-keeping of the bins.
