Local Schools

There are currently no reported school closures.  During term-time, if we become aware of any school closures we will publish them on our school closures webpage.

We also strongly advise listening to Rutland Radio from 6am weekdays on 107.2FM (Oakham side of county) and 97.4FM (Stamford side of county) as they often receive information about school closures before we do.

Rutland Radio also has a school closures page (external link) which is kept up-to-date

Bin Collections

Council Buildings

Rutland County Council operates a number of buildings including the council offices, libraries (Oakham, Uppingham, Ketton and Ryhall) and Rutland County Museum.

There is currently no changes to regular opening hours.

Local Media

Keep up-to-date with the latest media reports from Rutland Times, Rutland Mercury and Rutland Radio. Other media outlets that cover Rutland include Leicester Mercury and BBC Radio Leicester.
