Online Mapping System
Welcome to the Rutland County Council online mapping system for public rights of way.
Originally launched in April 2008 the online mapping system allows you to find routes for walking, cycling and riding in Rutland. You can search for places, move around the map, zoom in and out and 'interogate' mapped features for more information. The system can also be used for reporting any problems you may encounter whilst using the rights of way network.
*We are currently in the process of moving over to a new interactive mapping system and during this transitional period there may be times when some of the systems features don't function as intended.*
The online mapping system has been produced to assist you in planing and enjoying your visit to the Rutland countryside. It will be regularly updated to reflect changes on the ground. However the system must not be relied on for legal or planning related work as it is not the legal record of public rights of way and access land.
Use the online mapping system now... (clicking on this link will take you to an external site)
We are always looking for ways to improve the site and if you have any suggestions or comments please:
- e-mail the Public Rights of Way Section at firstname.lastname@example.org, or
- write to the Public Rights of Way Officer (policy) at the Council offices
