"Partnership working between councils and other local agencies is key to redesigning public services, and to ensuring good outcomes at lowest cost" (Local Government Improvement and Development).

Rutland Together is the Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) for Rutland. The Partnership was established in August 2002 to bring together all of those people and bodies whose work impacts on the lives of local people.

The partnership has gone through radical changes since its beginning, this is due to political changes over the years which has affected the partnerships direction of travel.

Rutland Together is made up of over 50 partners from the public, private and voluntary sectors. Our main responsibilities are to:

→Develop and drive Rutland Sustainable Communities Strategy

→Engage the community in decision making

→Deliver what the community wants

Rutland Together allows different organisations in the community to support each other and work together on different initiatives and services to address local issues.

This website aims to showcase to the public what Rutland County Council is doing in partnership with local organisations. It is also a way in which current partners can access key information such as meeting dates and events, key documents and plans.
