Sound and Vision

As well as books, we offer entertainment, information and education in a range of other media, including CDs, DVDs and videos, which you can borrow for a small charge (see our library charges page for our full range of harges).

The library catalogue gives you the option to search for material in a specific format. You can either restrict your search to a particular catalogue (such as Talking Books), or you can choose the option 'Limit Search' to restrict your search to one format (for example DVD).

Music

Our range of CDs caters for all tastes from Beethoven to Scissor Sisters, taking in jazz, country and western, opera, folk, musicals, blues and easy listening along the way!

Talking Books

A selection of books is available on CD or cassette, read by top actors, for adults and children

DVD's

Our collection includes films (particularly those based on literary works), classic TV series such as 'Dad's Army' and 'Poldark', and musical performances from Kylie to opera, plus a wide selection of children's favourites.
