NEW JOB CLUB

A new Job Club has been set up at Oakham Library thanks to the Rutland Library Service working in partnership with Rutland Adult Learning.

The Job Club will run in the Access2Work hub at Oakham Library and will provide advice and guidance to residents who are unemployed. The club will also offer help with CV writing and any training issues that people may have.

Running on a weekly basis from Wednesday 9 January from 1pm – 4pm, a member of the Rutland Adult Learning Team will be on hand to assist jobseekers in finding work and training opportunities.

The new club is an addition to the Access2Work programme and aims to complement the National Careers Service sessions run by PJT Employability of Corby, which run on the first Wednesday of every month. The Job Club also supplements the volunteer-supported Job Search sessions on Monday and Wednesday mornings, where jobseekers are offered unlimited free internet time to search for and apply for jobs, and get assistance with I.T use. Free printing for CV's and Job Applications is also available at these times.

For more information about the Access 2 Work hub and its services please visit our Access2Work page.
