If you love reading, music, DVDs and videos or surfing the Internet, the library is a great place to be - we have events, displays, author visits, and lots of exciting new titles for you to read! Our Bookstart activities include storytimes, and Rhyme Times. Children pay no overdue charges and requests for items on the catalogue held in other libraries are FREE
Bookstart story times
Stories, songs and rhymes for babies and young children - come along and join in the Bookstart Story Times fun.
Find out about the Bookstart Bear Club and join at Oakham Library.
Rhyme Times are fun sessions lasting about half an hour, and involve music and rhyme for under 5's with carers or parents. These are very popular!
Rhyme Times take place:
Every Tuesday at 2.30pm at Uppingham Town Hall
Every Thursday at 2pm at Oakham Library
Every Friday at 10.30am at Oakham Library
