Shopping at The Museum

The Museum shop is well stocked with wooden spinning tops, football rattles, castanets and traditional toys, that never fail to interest little hands.

For adults we have a selection of the witty humorous retro coasters, postcards and magnets. Please come and see our selection and you will surely find something to make you smile.

Treasure Trails

Newly revamped and improved versions of Treasure Trails have arrived at the Museum. They feature Oakham, Uppingham and Rutland Water, and come in the form of either a murder mystery or a treasure map. Following the clues you find the code that can win you a cash prize. They offer a wonderful and exciting way to see local attractions and take you to spots you never knew existed.

Rutland Preserves

We stock Rutland's own delicious traditional preserves— a line of old fashioned jams: strawberry, raspberry, blackcurrant, plum, chutneys and relishes, marmalades and Rutland Mustard. With a twist on the county’s motto: Much in Little Jars.  This home grown selection of condiments will bring back the    flavours of your childhood.
