| Family Corner  There’s always plenty to keep the little (and not so little) ones entertained at the museum, so if you’re stuck for what to do come along and have fun doing some of our drop-in activities or a museum trail; or why not book into one of our fun Wednesday workshops?

Train to be an Egyptian Priest Tuesday 27th July 1:30pm -3:30 & Thursday 29th July 10:45am-12:30pm
As part of the Festival of British Archaeology 2010 come along and train to be an Egyptian priest.
Children will have the opportunity to make their own canopic jars, wrap their own Pharoah Bententeph, write cartouches and appease Ancient Egyptian gods.
This fun and hands-on workshop will get children thinking about what Ancient Egyptian life was really like.
