Town and Village Appraisals
A settlement appraisal for each of the towns and villages within Rutland has been carried out by the Council. The information compiled is to form part of the evidence base for the Local Development Framework.
The purpose of the document is to provide a comprehensive assessment of each town and village to:
- determine how sustainable it is,
- indicate physical constraints to future developments,
- identify what development is required to meet local needs.
Consultation with the Town and Parish Councils/Meetings has now taken place, and the feedback included in the final version of the document. All the town and village appraisals can be viewed below.
