Submission

This stage of the consultation has now closed.

 

The Council has submitted its Core Strategy document for public examination to the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government. 

 

The document sets out the vision, objectives, spatial strategy and policies for development in Rutland to 2026. It applies to the whole of the administrative area of Rutland County Council.

 

Submission of the document to the government follows public consultation on the Proposed Submission Document in August-September and October-November 2010.  Copies of the responses received may be viewed by following the link on the left of this page.

 

The Secretary of State has appointed Mr Robert Yuille MSc DipTP MRTPI to conduct the examination into whether the document is sound. Further details of the examination are availablle on the Public Examination web page.
