Leisure & Recreation
We want everyone to enjoy Sport and Active Recreation as an important part of life in Rutland
Rutland’s Leisure & Recreation Team provides a wide range of activities and services to help everyone in our communities to access sport and physical activity opportunities as part of an active healthy lifestyle.
Some key areas of interest include the development of the quality and quantity of sport and physical activity in both our schools and community settings and increasing the active travel and active lifestyle options available across all of Rutland’s communities.
Furthermore we recognise that numerous sport and physical activities take place across a range of community venues throughout the county and Rutland’s Leisure Recreation Team is committed to supporting our community sports and activity groups to grow and develop as we appreciate the invaluable contribution they make to community life in Rutland.
