Affordable Housing
The strategic housing and enabling function at Rutland County Council focuses on ensuring that the affordable housing provision meets the needs of the county for the future.
Key areas of work for this team include:
- Affordable housing - working with partners to develop new affordable housing and to monitor the amount of commitments and completions each year
- Policies and strategies - helping to ensure that there is enough affordable housing planned for the future to accommodate our growing population and to develop policies and strategies to help us address housing need
- Research - looking at the housing issues within Rutland and the neighbouring authorities to identify common challenges
