Search Planning Applications
To search and view the planning applications, please go to our PLANNING APPLICATION SEARCH PAGE.
The council is currently finalising the implementation of a new planning search system. You can access this using the link above but please bear in mind that work is ongoing to develop the system. The information found should be correct, but if you spot any errors then please email email@example.com or contact Customer Services on 01572 722577.
Plans and other images are uploaded in Adobe PDF format. To view these you will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. This can be downloaded free of charge from Adobe's website (external link - opens in a new window).
Some files are also uploaded in 'JPEG' format. Most operating systems include software for viewing these, for example, 'Paint', 'Windows Picture & Fax Viewer', 'MS Office Picture Manager' etc. More details can be found on the Fileinfo website (external link - opens in a new window).
Please note that the planning application search facility above is intended for use by consultees and should not be relied upon to effect a legal search on a given site.
Please note: This service may only be available between the hours of 0645 and 2145 (6:45am & 9:45pm) due to essential nightly backup of the planning database.

The Council has published a document "Publicity for Planning Applications" which states how planning applications will be publicised.
