Elections and Electoral registrationVoter cross

Rutland County Council  is responsible for organising any election within the County, including Local, General and European elections.

Local elections in the County take place every four years with members voted onto the County Council.

The Council's Democratic Services department also maintains the County's Electoral Register, which voters need to be on in order to be entitled to vote in an election.
