The following admissions information gives you details of how to apply for a place for your child at primary school and secondary school.

'Starting Primary School in Rutland' gives details of the admissions process if your child is starting school for the first time in August 2008.

'Starting Secondary School' gives details of the admissions process if your child is transferring from primary school to secondary school in August 2008. Please note that if you wish to apply for a Rutland secondary school place for your child, other than first time admission into year 7, you should contact the relevant college direct.

'In-Year Admissions' gives details of the admissions process if you would like to move your child from one primary school to another.

'Admission Arrangements 2008' allows you the opportunity to download a copy of Rutland County Council's published Admission Arrangements and Co-ordinated Scheme for secondary school admissions for admissions in September 2008.

'Admission Arrangements 2009' allows you the opportunity to download a copy of Rutland County Council's published Admission Arrangements and Co-ordinated Scheme for secondary school admissions for admissions in September 2009.

'Apply Online' allows you to submit your application for a school place online.
